We understand that when we sacrifice and serve we are closer to the heart of God. We are called to go beyond our walls and to send people on mission to make an eternal difference in our community, in Burundi, India, Haiti, and to the ends of the Earth.
CALLED TO THE WORLD
We want to change lives in a way that has an eternal impact. For us, this means focusing our efforts on specific communities in Burundi, Haiti, and India.
We are called to take care of the widows, the orphans, and the poor around the world. We have experienced firsthand how food, housing, and shelter in a place like Burundi can literally save lives and draw them closer to God. Since The Chapel began our partnership with Harvest Initiatives the infant mortality rate in Bugenyuzi has dropped from 72 per year to only 1 in the last 3 years.
CALLED TO PORT CLINTON
We don’t want to take the community we enjoy here at The Chapel for granted. God called us to start our Norwalk campus in 2012 and He has been faithful to allow it to both grow and become completely self-sustaining. We believe that God is calling us next towards the greater Port Clinton area.
We are called to open a new campus in 2018 which will bring The Chapel values and mission to Port Clinton.
We are called to open a fourth location by 2020 where people will experience God. (This location may not be another full campus.)
